Multiply the length by the height of each surface in meters and add the results together to get the area. For example, after measuring, you get: wall length 3.2 m, wall height 2.7 m (3.2 * 2.7 = 8.64 sq. m). 3. Divide the resulting area by the area of one slat (200 * 2900 = 0.58 sq. m) and round up: 8.64 / 0.58 = 14,89, rounded up to 15. During installation, waste may occur due to cutting slats, so it is recommended to add 1-2 spare slats to the calculation. Installation Instructions Before installation, prepare the surface on which the slats will be mounted. They can be installed on plastered walls, drywall constructions, and various wood-based surfaces. If the wall is covered with wallpaper, it is recommended to remove it beforehand to ensure reliable adhesion. For cutting the slats, use a circular saw, jigsaw, or angle grinder to achieve a clean and precise cut. The slats are fixed using mounting adhesive on a silicone or polyurethane base. Following the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions, apply the adhesive to the back side of the slat and then firmly press it onto the surface in the desired position. The slats can be installed either vertically or horizontally, depending on the design concept. For additional fixation, a construction stapler may be used. Staples should be applied along the edge of the slat groove so that the fasteners remain hidden and do not affect the overall appearance.
